1. Check the box of Enable Remote Management
2. Select Insights as Management Type and Cloud as Connection Type. This option will let AP connect to the Insights cloud server (ap.insights.altaitechnologies.com)
3. Select one of the following options for the management type on both radios: (1) Radio0(2.4G); and (2) Radio1(5G)
Not Management: Under this mode, all the radio configuration and statistics monitoring will be disabled in Insights
Full Management: Under this mode, the radio will be fully managed by Insights. Any configuration changes made on the AP radio and WLAN profiles in Insights will be provisioned to the AP. In general, this option is selected when the device is operating in AP mode
Monitor Mode: Under this mode, all the radio settings in Insights will become non-configurable. Also, any configuration changes made on the WLAN profiles in Insights will not be provisioned to the AP. In general, this option is selected when the device is operating in Station Mode, Bridge Mode and Repeater Mode for radio statistics monitoring
4. Click "Submit" button
Note: Make sure the firewall and IP routing settings of the local network allow the AP traffic to reach Internet via local management VLAN for the AP connection with Insights cloud server.
Save & Apply AP Configuration Change
Note: Be reminded to click "Save & Apply" at the top right corner of WebUI to make all configuration changes take effect.
AP Registration
Note: The status will turn from "Red Icon" to "Blue Icon" for the AP entry once the AP is successfully connected with Insights. On AP WebUI, it will also show the status of Remote MGT as "Connected".
